As I was eating breakfast this morning I saw something green dangling from a tree branch. It was a Mardi Grass bead! For a minute it took me to the days after the parades, when beads hang from branches and wires. The beads just look out of place in a January morning but they added a splash of color to another gray day.

Well, it is the season :) It would be funny to look out at find that though.
Well, I for one, love the look of skeletal tree limbs against an ashen sky, so I enjoyed your photos both yesterday and today. : )
