Image of Motherhood

This stained glass window at our church has moved me to tears several times. This shot doesn't do it justice. But the tenderness, the grief of a mother is so evident to me. I can picture Mary rocking back and forth while she griefs the loss of her son. So human, so true.

Wow. And again...wow. I love this window. The hues, the simple yet compelling message. I can see that it'd move one to tears. And while I'm sure it's even more beautiful in person, you captured it very well, Natalia. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing this.

The window must be breathtaking if the photo doesn't do it justice. This is a wonderful photo. Thanks for posting it.

Natalia, thanks for sharing this stained glass window. I lvoe that it feels more modern yet conveys something outside of time, really. You captured it beautifully.

Dittoing everyone else....it's a very poignant, pared-to-the-essence window, and I can see why it moves you.
