Azaleas in Bloom

There is a gorgeous display of azaleas everywhere you look throughout the city.

Note: I just noticed that on the post below it wasn't clear that Alex was who took the picture of the cloud. The caption is his "narration" of how he took the picture. I want to give him credit :-)

It's so beautiful now, isn't it? This shot is nicely composed (and with masses of azaleas it's hard to go wrong!)... I like the little waterfall in the foreground.

Mmmm, Louisiana in spring is so pretty. I used to love taking in the many azaleas as I walked the Tulane campus in March in April. Now, walking that campus in July was a whole 'nother matter! LOL

I grew up with huge azaleas (the big flowers and giant bushes) and just love them. The past couple of days here they've seemed to bust out, but mostly we have the smaller variety. Gorgeous shot!

This is a perfect capturing of spring! The color, the water, the peacefulness. I can almost hear the birds chirping in the shot.
