Yes, it did have potential. Check out your focusing mechanism....the tabletop is in perfect focus. Make sure when you push your button halfway in (to lock the focus) that you're focusing on what you want in focus....then you can move it around while holding the button in, and it will still focus on what you set it to. Clear as mud?
Ok, that was quick. I tried one more time before logging out and it popped up right away. I really like the angle and the colors. The reflections are neat too. Keep playing like Beth said with the shutter button and you will get it!
Follow Beth's advice. I have to be really careful focusing my camera when using the auto setting because half of the time it choose the wrong things to focus on and because the button is so sensitive, I end up accidentally snapping the photo anyway. I like the composition of this photo and the bright red of apples against the shiny metallic bowl.
