Yesterday, I had the rare privilege of watching a movie I wanted to watch and, all by myself too! I have read the book this movie is based on last year and really liked it. The movie, even though it leaves out some key elements of the story-like Evelyn's Catholic faith-, is very good in its own right.

I loved the book -- Vera recommended it. Still have yet to see the film, though. I've checked it out of the library twice and never had time to watch it.
